VISS emerged from research begun in 2018 to solve a foundational cybersecurity problem: software cannot reliably secure systems that software can compromise. This work led to a patented hardware architecture that enforces security through physics, not code, making remote cyber compromise technically impossible.
Founded in 2023, VISS is now advancing this innovation into real-world deployments across critical infrastructure and defence. Selected for the NATO DIANA Programme, VISS is building a universal trust layer for secure digital operations in an era defined by increasingly contested and interconnected systems.
Mission
Our mission is to make endpoint security effortless, universal, and unbreakable. By delivering a plug-and-play hardware solution that cannot be bypassed by zero-days or nation-state malware, we empower governments, industries, and individuals to carry out their work without the fear of compromise.
Vision
We envision a world where secure computing is a given and not a privilege. Just as Wi-Fi modules and Bluetooth chips became standard components in every device, Over the next decade, VISS aims to become the global hardware trust anchor for all critical endpoints: civilian and military. Just as every device today ships with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, future systems will ship with VISS as a mandatory layer of security. We intend to define and set this standard.
Our ambition is to secure hospitals, grids, defence C2 nodes, industrial systems, autonomous platforms, individual consumers, companies and national digital infrastructure worldwide by eliminating remote compromise as a possibility. Within ten years, VISS will be embedded in millions or even billions of endpoints, shaping international cybersecurity standards, and providing the physical foundation for a safe, resilient digital civilization.
