VISS won the German StartUp Cup in the category "Cybersecurity" in June 2025.
The jury & the audience honored the hardware platform as a potential breakthrough technology in IT-Security.
The German StartUP Cup is organized by GFFT e.v. and United Innovations e.v.. This year's host was the KfW in Frankfurt.

In June 2024, the start-up VISS was awarded third prize in the SpeedUpSecure accelerator program.
The jury recognized the idea's potential to become a disruptive technology.
The SpeedUpSecure accelerator is organized by the incubator StartUpSecure I ATHENE and supported by the partner incubators CISPA in Saarbrücken, Cube 5 in Bochum and StartUpSecure KASTEL in Karlsruhe. The four cybersecurity incubators are part of the “StartUpSecure” funding program of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), now the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR).
